Are you excited for Android 13? Unless you own a Pixel smartphone or a OnePlus handset, when the update will arrive for your particular brand/model really depends on the manufacturer, but we have some good news for those who own either the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 or Flip 4 smartphones.

This is because Samsung has finally made the One UI 5 beta available for both handsets. For those unfamiliar, One UI 5 will be based on the Android 13 update, which basically means that Samsung is already testing Android 13 on both these devices. It will come with all the usual updates/upgrades you might expect from Android 13, along with other changes that Samsung is making to the One UI platform.

There is no mention of when this update will be available for the public, but if you’re interested in taking part in the beta, you will need to download the Samsung Members app and then register to be a beta tester. Keep in mind that betas usually come with bugs and have features that may change ahead of the public release, so using it as a daily driver might not be the best idea.

In the meantime, Samsung has also been releasing the One UI 5 beta for other smartphones like for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3. The company is also expected to make the update available for the Galaxy S22 later this month, making it the first Samsung smartphone to officially get the Android 13 update.
