Shefali Shah, who has been actively been promoting her recently-released film Jalsa with Vidya Balan, during a recent interaction with Bollywood Hungama, was asked about her crush. The actress revealed that she once had a crush on Aamir Khan and added that she even wrote him love letters. She said, “I had a crush on Aamir Khan. I wrote him a letter. I sent a photograph of mine with a love letter and in the photograph, I was standing there but it looked very nice because it was blurred. Far away I am standing, you can’t make out anybody who this human is, nothing, wrote a long love letter.” Fort the uninitiated, Shefali Shah was supposed to make her Bollywood debut with the filmRangeela, also starring Aamir Khan. However, she decided to quit the project midway.

Shefali Shah later married filmmaker Vipul Shah, who has directed films like Aankhen, Namastey London, Action Replayy, London Dreams and Waqt: The Race Against Time and the web-series Humans, to name a few. He has also produced several Bollywood projects.

Shefali Shah famously starred in Netflix’s Delhi Crime, which won the best Drama Series at the International Emmys. She starred as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi in the show. The actress is also known for starring in films like 15 Park Avenue, Waqt, Karthik Calling Karthik, Dil Dhadakne Do and Commando 2 among others.

She will next be seen in Darlings, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Vijay Varma. The film will be co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt.
