The launch of Rainbow Six Siege on Stadia is less than 24 hours away, as Google revealed the official release date for the game in today’s Stadia Community blog post. Google announced the game coming to the platform in early June, but didn’t say exactly when it was being released. Siege is also not the only new game hitting Stadia this week, with the launch of Moonlighter happening on July 1.

But, there’s even more. Because Google is not only adding Moonlighter to the Stadia Store, it’s also adding three additional games to the Stadia Pro library. Moonlighter will be the fourth Pro game this month. So even though it’s a new game to the service, it’s free too.

Siege breaches the Stadia Store in a June 30 launch

Ubisoft has been a continued partner for Google since the launch of the Stadia service back in 2019. Even before its launch, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was used as a Stadia demo, then called Project Stream.

Since then, Ubisoft has gone on to release a huge collection of its game titles on Stadia. The most recent being tomorrow’s Siege release.

Siege itself is not a new game. And has been available on PC and consoles since December 2015. But the tactical team shooter is perhaps at the height of its popularity. Ubisoft is even still adding new operators to the game and redoing some of its older maps.

With its release on Stadia tomorrow, players will be able to enjoy cross platform play and cross progression with PC and Luna. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like consoles are included.

Four games join Stadia Pro while five others leave

As the seasons change so too does the list of game titles that are included with Stadia Pro. That means you can expect a handful of games to be leaving the Pro membership’s free claimed games roster soon.

While Moonlighter, Street Power Football, Terraria, and The Darkside Detective all join Stadia Pro on July 1, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Steamworld Dig, Ary & Secret of Seasons, Spongebob Squarepants: Battle For Bikini Bottom, and PIKUNIKU will all be removed at the end of the day on June 30. So that means you have today and tomorrow to claim them for free.
