Wargaming Studio is constantly developing its flagship series, trying to enrich the gameplay. This time it presents the latest update to World of Tanks, which introduces an additional line of tanks to the Polish technology tree. Units equipped with guns with significant striking power, adding mechanics to the gameplay that allow for aggressive battles. Here is the detailed schedule of the update, which has been available since yesterday.

World of Tanks has received an update introducing another line of tanks from the Polish technology tree.

Tank destroyers are the third branch of the Polish technology tree, complementing the existing selection of heavy and medium tanks. The first three tanks are: SDP 40 Zadymka, SDP 44 Burza, and SDP 57 Gowika. These Tier V-VII units can be described as classic turretless destroyers, offering gameplay familiar to commanders of this vehicle class. They are characterized by mobility, good frontal protection and solid guns capable of dealing massive damage.

The real treat for commanders begins at higher levels. Kilan’s SDP 58, Gonkiewicz’s SDP 50 and NC 70 Błyskawica are Tier VIII-X vehicles that introduce completely new bullet mechanics to World of Tanks, allowing them to deal maximum damage in close-range combat – greater risk, greater reward. The first part of the novelty for Polish destroyers are redesigned tank guns, which allow the use of shells with a star-shaped bottom. The new ammunition is most effective at a distance of up to 50m, and as the distance increases, the damage dealt will decrease. The tactical positioning of tanks will be even more important than before. Another element of the new mechanics are guns with deeply rifled barrels, which allow top-tier tanks to fire with unrivaled striking power. This means, first of all, that Polish destroyers have the highest speed of special missiles in the game.

Together with the new Polish strike force, a commander ready to lead the attack is also added to the game. Popular Polish streamer and long-time creator of World of Tanks content, Gypsy will stand alongside the tankers with their own voice track. In addition, the game will also feature a completely new post-mortem mode, which will allow, among other things, to learn the details of the shot that killed the player.
